Cultivate your creativity

Gather for an initial chat and then briefly explore the beautiful Burnbake site. This will be an opportunity to feel the fresh air on your faces, observe the sights and sounds of nature, and immerse yourselves in the beauty surrounding us.

After your nature walk, gather again and it’s your turn to shine. You’ll get to express your creativity, whether it’s through drawing, painting, or any other form of art, based on what you noticed or experienced. Share observations and thoughts as a group, making your voice a vital part of the experience.

Alan’s hopes for the session

A mindful moment of observation: Sharpen our senses and observe the environment around us. Enjoy the benefits of a short
moment in nature.
Cultivate creativity and inspiration: Let the natural world inspire our artistic expression and unlock your creativity.
A wonder for wellbeing: Experience the calming effects of nature and creativity combined. Create a space to unwind,
reflect, and rejuvenate your mind.
An opportunity to connect: Share your experiences and creations with fellow attendees.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • A sketchbook, notebook, or any preferred medium for your creative activity
  • Any art supplies you like to use (pencils, pens, watercolours, etc.) – plus Alan will bring some supplies too, so no worries if you don’t have anything
  • An open mind and a willingness to explore!

Unplug, unwind, and rediscover the beauty of the world around us.
